Hides in Hand Wholesale

Thank you for your interest in Hides in Hand, and our products.  In order to serve you efficiently and to avoid any future misunderstanding we would like to make sure you are aware of the following company policies.

Terms and Conditions:

All orders require a 50% deposit at the time of placement, with the remaining balance due upon completion of production and prior to shipment. Please note that shipping costs are calculated separately and will be added to your final invoice once production is complete. We kindly ask that your first order meet a minimum of $1000. All orders are processed through our online platform. If you haven’t yet registered, please do so by visiting the ‘WHOLESALE’ link at the bottom of our website’s homepage.

If accounts run dormant over 1 year, we will require the initial minimum opening order amount again.

All merchandise will be shipped at prices in effect upon receipt of order. In response to all placed orders, an “Order Confirmation” reflecting the order prices will be emailed once the online order has been placed. Prices are subject to change without notice

Payment can be made using: E-transfer, Cash, Visa, Master Card, Certified Company Cheque or money order. All credit card payments are subject to a 3% processing surcharge.

Custom made items require full payment before production of goods. No refunds on custom made items.

A service charge of $45.00 is levied on all N.S.F. cheques. Replacement cheques must be certified.

Freight Terms:

All orders are shipped F.O.B. from our shop in Rockwood.  It is common for Hides in Hand to send partial or multiple shipments based on the size of the order.

Goods Damaged in Transit:

In rare instances where damages or shortages of goods occur, do not accept the goods from the shipper as having been received in good order.  All shipments are deemed to have been received in good order unless we are notified in writing within a period of 5 working days following delivery of the goods.

Return Policy:

All Sales are final. 

Warranty:

All goods are warrantied for a period of 30 days against defects in materials and workmanship. A consumer warranty is applicable for 30 days from the customer date of purchase. Proof of purchase is required. This warranty constitutes the sole liability of Hides In Hand with respect to the product. No other distributor or any other person or entity has any authority to offer any other warranty on behalf of Hides In Hand.

Please note that due to the natural characteristics of leather and the tanning process, variations in color, as well as fading from improper storage or exposure to fluorescent lighting, direct, or indirect sunlight, are not covered by this warranty.

Before issuing a new product replacement, contact Hides In Hand with your concern which may include i.e. a broken lace or a stitching problem. Hides In Hand is capable of repairing most faulty items. If an item needs to be repaired or replaced, Hides in Hand will make that decision. If you choose to replace the item at your store level without contacting Hides In Hand first, the cost of this replacement will not be credited by Hides In Hand.

User modifications and self-attempted repairs not prior authorized by Hides in Hand are not eligible for warranty service or replacement.

Photo evidence is required for all warranty claims, and can be emailed to info@hidesinhand.com or anna@hidesinhand.com expedites the decision process for repairing or crediting that item. Proof of purchase, such as an invoice number will be required.
